Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the nursing student's lived experience of grief while they have a clinical practice. It is qualitative research that have applied research methodology of Parse's Human Becoming Theory to the study and
research
design is descriptive study.
The Subjects were 4 junior nursing Students who have a clinical practice for 2 years. Researcher and participant have the dialogical engagement through intensive interview about grief experience on clinical practice.
Interview data was consist of tape recording and arrange the releated articles from collected materials through transcription, reading, and extraction. Interviews for data collection was done form 29, October, 1992 to 8 February, 1993. The
interview was
performed 2-5 times per each participant.
@ES The results of the study are as follows:
@EN 1. The grief is the process of enlarging a opinion by oneself while one feels annoying and helplessness because of significant various loss and shows pity and sorrow that one puts one's feeling in other's condition, gets a consolation to
others.
2. The origin of arousing the grief is composed of total 69 cases, in which 25 cases are related with medical and nursing profession and 13 cases are owing to empathy among them.
3. The expression of grief was appeared on 96 words that have showed a physical, emotional, cognitive, behavioral aspect variously.
